Meet the Owner, Brendan Mahon
Brendan Mahon, began Mahon Landscaping after a lifelong passion for enriching his community through creating beautiful outdoor spaces for his clients.
Brendan received a football scholarship to play for Penn State & continue his education where he graduated as a 4-year starter on the football field with a degree in Landscape Contracting. Brendan moved on to play in the NFL for the Carolina Panthers but continued to do landscape design work in the off-season.
Once retired from football, Brendan followed his passion & officially started Mahon Landscaping where he is able to bring his client’s outdoor dreams to life every day!
Today, Brendan and his wife Erika live with their two children Peyton and Parker in Anne Arundel County, Md.

We start with a consultation to discuss your vision, site assessment, and budget. We'll then create preliminary sketches based on your feedback, refining the design accordingly.
Design & Planning
We'll create a detailed plan with plant selection, materials, and layout, including 3D renders for visualization. Once approved, detailed construction plans are prepared for implementation.
Preparation & Approval
Ready to see your design realized? After approval, we'll connect you with trusted contractors for installation, saving you time and money.

I am a military veteran of 23+ years and look to support veteran owned business. This company was my best experience with a lawn care service. Sad to say they maintained my yard better than I ever did, so they definitely have set a new standard of lawn maintenance and upkeep. I hope I find another company as professional and does such quality work as Lawn Vets, LLC at my new duty station. There have set a high bar for others to match, if not exceed.

These guys are AMAZING! My husband and I got quickly overwhelmed by the amount of debris in our backyard after this past winter’s ice storm. As a result our yard quickly became over grown with weeds (some a foot high!). I originally had a large local company come out for an estimate and nearly cried when they showed me how much it was going to cost. Jacob underbid them, showed up on time and finished promptly. His company is professional, affordable and courteous. I would defiantly recommend them to anyone needing lawn care.
